“Urban” Plant Dietas: La dieta is the traditional amazonian way of curanderismo or healing and learning directly from the spirit and consciousness of the plants. Through the process of dieting with a particular plant’s medicinal tea, while also intentionally abstaining from many of our ordinary activities, we create spaciousness within ourselves and our cells for deep healing to take place within all our energetic bodies (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual).
Although this practice is traditionally done in complete isolation, in the depths of the rainforests with a very strict structure, this is not your traditional dieta and has been “urbanized”, allowing this Sacred Practice to become accessible for the householder.
This is a gentle, yet still very profound, introduction to La Dieta and will be crafted to meet you where you are with other suggested practices woven into your personalized protocol to support your healing.
